Subway and Quiznos have veggie subs
Burger king has veggie burgers
McDonalds in Cali and NY have veggie burgers
Wendy's has a Veggie Sandwich, which is a burger w/o the patty. Wendy's also has baked potatoe
You can get nachos at Taco Bell w/o the meat
Salads from almost anywhere
And of course fries, if you're want a snack :)
None really *cater* to a vegetarian diet, but here are some that I've found where I live that are pretty veg-friendly:
Subway (many options)
Qdoba (many options)
Quiznos (many options)
Cousin's (many options)
Burger King (veggie burgers)
KFC (??!!) (lots of side dishes)
Wendy's (lots of side dishes)
Noodles & Co. (many options)
Panera Bread (many options)
Taco Bell (any item can be customized)
Taco Bell has been my favorite because you can ask for anything on the list, and just replace the meat with refried beans. Just be clear about it, and they'll do it, no charge. To tell you the truth, if you're not too picky, you can eat at any fast food place, except for McDonald's. They have nothing but French fries and side salads.
I try to avoid fast food as much as possible, because they're not healthy. I understand, though, what life is like as a student and the need for something quick. I don't go to most places, and avoid McDonald's completely (here in the US they have beef in the fries)
I do sometimes go to Taco bell (their beans and rice are both safe) I usually get a bean burrito and a cheese roll up.
I love Togos (they have a huge selection of veggie sandwiches) I'm not sure if there are any outside of California. Quiznos, though, is also good and have veggie options (i hate Subway)
Again, this is only Cali, but I adore In n Out. I get a grilled cheese which is basically a cheeseburger without the meat, and their fries are veggie.
Safeway's deli section makes great sandwiches to.
This is a great site that lists all the vegetarian options at fast food places and some other restaurants: http://www.vegetarian-restaurants.net/OtherInfo/FastFoodRest.htm
La Chica- McDonald's yogurt is not vegetarian.
There are not really any fast food chains that "cater" so to say to vegetarians. They usually only offer things like veggie burgers or one or two veg friendly items. But my best bet for getting good vegetarian food is at a taco and burrito place, they usually have lots of beans + other veg options and usually you can custom order most of your meal :)
if I must eat at a fast food joint aka drive in places i opt for either burgerking which has a veggie burger or Taco Bell, where there is an array of options. I usually order a combo of hard shelled bean burritos with lettuce, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, peppers and onions on top of this, ill add mild hot sauce to it until it suits my liking. I also get thier side orders of small bags of warm taco chips which are very good!. FYI: if you do ever order one of those sides f chips at a drive-thru window, be sure to tell them to add a small cup or two of salsa. unfortunately, mos tellers have forgotten in my past if i dont mention it.
taco bell's beans are vegetarian so you could get a bean burrito there or something.
if you have a moe's southwest grill near you, they have a lot of options.
subway (or most delis) you can get a sandwich with just veggies.
many places have veggie burgers just go in one day when you have time and look.
I personally HATE fast food, but for your sake here are some:
plain baked potato(wendys)
Side Salad(McDonalds)
Any salads, just ask there to be NO chicken on it
Apple Turnovers(McDOnalds)
This website has a TON of food places. It has helped me alot.
really, none do. their fries are often coated and/or cooked in beef fat, their ice creams come from factory farm cows a lot the time. it sucks, but fast food places are all about making their money and don't really think about vegetarians
Most do, but you should not be doing business with any that sell meat products, as this is supporting the slaughter of animals.
I only really eat at wendys.
I get a baked potato with italian vinaigrette dressing.
Its REALLY good.
And vegan.
McDonalds has the 'Fruit and Walnut salad'. It's just apples and grapes with yogurt on the side and walnuts on the side. ☺☻☺☻
Taco Time - bean burritos
None. Nothing and None.
streamliner from johnny rockets, it's 100% soy boca burger
Subway is the first fast food joint I've entered in 10 -15 years, 'cos at least there is a choice
Burger King~veggie burger, no mayo
none-haven't been to one in years.
but alot of folks go to subway for a veggie sub.
